The ladies
certainly saddled up their horses to raise a hay load of cash for
the Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation. At total of $ 30,579.00 was generated as a
result 600 ladies enjoying a roottin’
tootin’ good time at the Russell Arena
on May 5th.
 With
a wonderful meal, served up in record time, by Al Graham and his
staff from AJ catering in Metcalfe, superb
MC’ing from radio host Mauler and Rush of Hot 89.9 and the
amazing auctioneers Erin James, Stewart James JR and Steven James,
the evening was fast-paced and ran smoothly.
 No
commentary could be complete without mentioning the wonderful
support from our community men, 9 groups of Guy’s with the Goods,
who more than presented their goods to a room packed with screaming,
yet discerning, ladies.
A great
big thanks to all who donated items for the auction and to all our
