FOOD CONCESSIONS - 2008

Outdoor food concessions are situated throughout the fairgrounds. There is only one food concession in the beer garden, available for $400 (includes hydro), and none adjacent to the beer garden. All locations are available for $15 per foot of frontage, including trailer hitch. There is a minimum 10-foot frontage allotment.  All locations with hydro must meet the attached specifications.

Terms and Conditions

1. The Russell Agricultural Society reserves the right to accept or reject any exhibit.
2. The Russell Agricultural Society requires each vendor to carry $2,000,000 liability insurance and to provide, with payment, a Certificate of Liability Insurance naming the Russell Agricultural Society as an additional insured.
3. Electrical requirements:
  a) All cord sets and ends must be CSA approved and must meet hydro inspection specifications or power will be discontinued until repaired.
  b) All cords must be 50 or 50w rated.
  c) All cords must be sized as per requirements of load to meet the hydro code table 5.
  d) Cord length to be predetermined and supplied by vendor.
  e) If male cord caps do not match receptacle cords can be connected to panel ONLY by qualified electrician appointed by fair board. The charge for this service will be $36/hour (Russell Fair rate).
4. Each exhibitor is responsible for his/her own vendor's permit according to Ontario Sales Tax Regulations.
5. All vendors must be on site by Friday, September 5, at 12:00 p.m.
6. Clearly priced menu must be on display.
7. Exhibitors must not damage or deface any part of the fairgrounds.
8. All food concessions must be manned at all times by the vendor or other qualified representatives.
9. Upon acceptance of your application the terms and conditions noted herein become part of the agreement between you the vendor and the Russell Agricultural Society.
10. Exhibitor must maintain all health standards and regulations. Breeches of such shall result in expulsion from the Fair without refund.
11. New food concessions are requested to include a photograph of their concession with their applications.
12. All additional trailers and requirements for power MUST be listed on application or power/space may not be available. Please note you pay for additional power.
