Education Day’s “Our Heritage ... Part of our Future” will take place on Friday, September 9. The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Saunders Stained Glass – Mona Saunders

Mona Saunders enjoys sharing her passion for stained glass. She has taught many area men and women the art of stained glass in her home studio.  Mona creates custom work for clients and some of her work is in Europe as well as in many locations within Canada and the United States. She has given presentations to many groups on this craft, donated pieces of her work to charities and has consigned some of her work to a local store.  Mona is most proud of her students who have gone on to starting their own stained glass businesses and those who continue to enjoy this creative hobby. She has a wall in her studio showcasing their accomplishments.

Saunders Stained Glass classes begin in September and continue until May each year. The 2-hour classes are available during the day or evening, and are limited to a maximum of 4 students per class.
