After two years of touring
with the band Green River, Canada's first Creedence Clearwater Revival
tribute act, Mike McDonald took a few years off to work in the studio
and re-discover his blues roots.
In 1988, Mike received a
call from a Toronto agent, telling him that Green River had disbanded,
leaving a hole in the market that he felt sure Mike could readily fill
owing to his experience in developing Green River's line-up and
following, back in 1985.
Early in 1989, The Bayou
Boys went on the road, and haven't looked back. In the past 12 years,
the band has toured all over Canada, eastern Canada being one of their
strongest markets. They have recently ventured into the American casino
market as well. The Bayou Boys are one of the Favourite "Imported" acts
in Finland, returning there every five months for six weeks of constant
touring.

Those who have seen him
perform live unanimously agree that DW James is one of the most exciting
country performers to appear in Canada in quite some time. The energy
they put into their show is infectious, and the result has been a
growing fan base wherever they play. DW likes to bill himself as the
"third hardest working man in country music", but he'll never tell you
who the other two are.
Having opened for renowned performers such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Asleep At
The Wheel, The Dixie Chicks and Hal Ketchum, DW knows what it takes to
succeed at the highest levels of the business. Two years ago DW drew
2000 people to Lulu's in Kitchener as the sole entertainer for 820
CHAM's Country Music Video Dance Party - and this was before he had a
record out!
A live performance is the
only way to truly appreciate the diversity of this four piece Rock and
Roll band . Their great mix of covers have been carefully selected to
keep the crowd dancing and pleading for more at the end of the night!
GAMUT have been together
for several years , going through various name and member changes ...
all the while developing it's unique blend of entertaining music.
The final piece fell into
place in early 2004 with the addition of a new lead guitar member and
the rest is as they say ... Rock and Roll history!

Tribute to Shakira
Krystal, a singer/actor/model from
Mississauga Ontario, began singing and dancing at the age of four,
paying special attention to jazz and ballet. She has performed in music
festivals across Canada and United States and has been featured in 2
international print ads for KAPPA.
