Spirit

The band that became Spirit of the West began as a Folk trio called
Evesdropper in Vancouver over 20 years ago. 12 albums later, they have
proven themselves to be road-worthy and durable, having toured Canada,
the US, UK and Europe consistently, building a dedicated following of
fans from all over the world.
They have four gold and two platinum albums to their credit, and are
responsible for such songs as “Home For a Rest”, “And if Venice is
Sinking”, “Five Free Minutes”, “Save This House”, and “The Crawl”. The
band’s newest album Star Trails is their first studio recording in
several years.

Singer-songwriter Kim Mitchell is a true Canadian icon who has achieved
gold and multiplatinum records leading the musically eclectic Max
Webster in the 70's and later during his solo career, selling over a
million recordings in this country over a 30-year career that is still
rocking today. He has won two Juno Awards for Album of the Year and Male
Vocalist of the Year.
Kim Mitchell is a respected song writer having penned and recorded
classic hits like “Go For Soda”, “Rock N Roll Duty”, “Patio Lanterns”,
“I am a Wild Party”, “Easy To Tame” and “All We Are” – all songs that
have become part of the Canadian musical scene.
Kim Mitchell’s 8th solo album, “Ain’t Life Amazing” is the Canadian
singer-guitarist’s first set of new material in eight years. A stellar
rock recording containing such songs as the vibrant first single, “Ain’t
Life Amazing” to the fierce and igniting “Got A Line”, gorgeous acoustic
ballad “Overtime”, and pumping rocker “Killers Name”.
As an added bonus and a sideline, six years ago, Mitchell was asked to
join the on-air staff in the prestigious position of afternoon drive
host at Q107 in Toronto adding a week day job to his live performance
schedule.
Fan Jam is an open-mike show open to individuals, bands and anyone

Sticks'n Stones play a rollicking, up-tempo brand of rock'n roll,
doing covers from Meatloaf to Mellencamp. Their music travels well,
and this talented cast of musicians has played every gig from
corporate events to country fairs.
Diamond Heart, a local trio, brings a dynamic sound with vocal
harmonies to all the music they play, whether it is classic rock,
country, retro, or a pop song from today. Diamond Heart plays a
large music base to please all types of audiences, and the tag team
energy of two lead singers means the audience is never bored.
Known as the little band with the big sound, Ambush has been
delivering its own brand of high energy country music since 1993.
Ambush was recognized by the country music industry with CCMA
nominations for both Independent Group or Duo of the Year and Group
or Duo of the Year. Their single “In This Room” is currently
receiving solid radio play and the companion video is on regular
rotation on the Country Music Network.
