RULES |

A) |
Junior exhibitors must obtain an exhibitor number from the Fair
Secretary prior to September 2, 2011 but are not required
to pay a membership fee. Entry forms and entry tags are also
available from the Fair Secretary. |

B) |
Where applicable, flowers
must be home grown, i.e. not bought commercially. |
|
C) |
Entries may be placed in
the Curling Club on Wednesday, September 7, between 6:00 and 8:00
p.m. or on Thursday, September 8, between 8:00 and 9:30 p.m. Entries
to be removed after 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 11. |

ENTRY SECTIONS |

AGES 6 - 16
|
- Any Flower grown from a bulb, corm or tuber; 1 stem shown in a
container of water.
- Rose, 1 stem, any variety; shown in a container of water.
- Rudbeckia, 3 flowers, shown in a container of water.
- Snapdragons, 3 stems, shown in a container of water.
- A collection of 3 or more of your favourite garden flowers,
shown in a container of water. (Special Prize)
- A wildflower collection, shown in a container of water.

AGES 6 - 11
|
- An arrangement in a mug. (Special Prize)
- A birthday card made with pressed flowers and seeds.
- A bookmark with a hand-drawn picture of your favourite flower.

AGES 12 - 16
|
- An arrangement of grasses and rudbeckia in a recycled
container.
- An autumn themed table decoration using fresh or dried
flowers.
- Box of Delights – a floral arrangement not to exceed 6“ in any
direction. (Special Prize)
