THE RULES
  1. No consumption of alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs by the drivers will be tolerated before and during the pulls.

  2. No registration will be accepted after the first pull of the class has started.

  3. All tractor drivers must show safe manners of control of their tractors during pulling and in pit area.

  4. The puller must obey the official flagman or will be disqualified. The track judge and officials decisions are final. Flagman will have a green and red flag.

  5. There will be a driver’s meeting before each pull.

  6. One operator per tractor per class.

  7. The puller may stop before the front of the sled has reached the 35ft mark and ask for a re-pull only once, then the driver has 2 minutes to make adjustments once sled is spotted. Pull off excluded.

  8. Tractors that touch or cross over the trackside lines during a pull will be disqualified. Maximum track length will be 300ft. Only the test puller on his/her test pull will be exempt of an out of bounds disqualification.

  9. Once sled weight is correct, the test puller has the right to take his first pull or to come back in third or last place. If pull sled weight is incorrect, the test puller must re-pull immediately or will loose his test pull then the second puller of the class will become the test puller.

  10. Drivers must wear a helmet for all classes and only helmets approved for snowmobiles or motorcycles will be permitted.

  11. All tractors will be classified by tractor weight(mod)and horse power(stock) for each class. There will be a 20 pound maximum over weight for the mod class. No extra weight allowed in stock classes.

  12. Any loss of weights during pull is instant disqualification.

  13. All tractors must have a 2 ½ lb fire extinguisher fastened in an accessible and visible area on the tractor (Modified’s ONLY)

  14. All tractors must be 2 wheel drive, driven by rear wheels. No dual wheels, chains, studs or paddle tires will be accepted.

  15. All vehicles must have a drawbar that is constructed from non-cast material and is stationary in all directions. Minimum drawbar thickness at hook point min ½ to ¾ maximum. Point of hook minimum opening: 1 ¾ to 2 ¼ maximum round hole. Drawbar height max. 13’.(Modified’s ONLY) Stock tractors will pull at their manufactured hitch height.

  16. No weights will be tolerated on the seat or in the wheels. The driver can slide his butt on the seat without lifting. All tractors must have a tractor seat similar in dimension with a backrest minimum of 3’” high. All drivers must be seated with legs in forward position.

  17. The exhaust pipes must not be pointed at any spectators. New (1999) year and up- tractors that exhaust pipes under the tractor must have a minimum of 20 degrees up worth at the end.

  18. All tractors must be equipped with adequate wheelie bars and dead man throttle. Kill switch shall be located at the rear of the tractor in a position that will allow for easy attachment or detachment without interference. The switch should be in the center of the tractor or within 6’ either side of center.

  19. All tractors must have adequate braking system.

  20. Tractors will operate on gasoline and must be naturally aspirated. Electronic fuel injection accepted. No alcohol, turbo’s or blowers.

  21. The rear tire treads must be covered by a minimum of 3’ by a fender for the driver safety.

  22. All modified tractors must be equipped with a adequate protection shield over the front of the engine crankcase with a minimum of 1/8 thick metal. All shafts, drives, sprockets ,belts and chains must be properly shielded for safety.

  23. In case of a test puller the driver must advise the sled operator or flag person whether he will keep the pull or return in a later position before leaving the front of the sled after his/her pull.
