PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE |
Welcome one and all!
On behalf of the Russell Agricultural Society,
it is an honour to welcome you to the 149th edition of the Russell
Fair.
The Fair Board and our many volunteers are once again hard at work
maintaining Russell’s oldest and
 most
celebrated family traditions. New events being planned at the Fair
this year is Russell’s Fair’s very
own “Deal or No Deal” plus we will be hosting
for the first time a
Demolition Derby
on Saturday
Night!
 You
may come our fair to enjoy traditional events such as our Cattle and
Sheep Show, Truck Pull,
Education Day, Classic Car Show or are a fan of our ever-popular
Fair Factor
(Russell’s take on the popular TV show Fear Factor), now in its 4th
year, or the Pancake Breakfast.
I would like to extend a special note of appreciation to our wonderful
office staff, Allan Anderson our Secretary and Barbara Cook our
Treasurer who keep our operation running 365 days a year and to all
members of our Board (click here to see who they are).
Please mark your calendars and come out and enjoy the fair. Continue
your family tradition or create a new one.
