SPECIAL AWARD

 

The Keith Dugdale Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the exhibitor(s) earning the highest number of points, calculated by combining total points from his/her top 5 exhibits in the Field Crops Class and/or the Commercial Feature Displays Class.

 

The 2007 recipients of the award were Jeff Hamilton and Steve Bekkers.

 

 

RULES

 

a)       General rules and regulations of the Russell Agricultural Society apply.

b)       Fee of $5.00 per entry.

c)       Hay - an exhibit of one cured flake exhibited in a clear plastic bag.  Bag will be supplied by the Society.

d)       One entry per exhibitor in any section.

e)       For corn and bean sections, please specify name on the entry tag.

f)        All entry forms must be in the hands of the Fair Secretary by Friday, August 29, 2008.

g)       Exhibits must be in the hands of the Committee on Thursday, September 4, 2008 by 12:00 noon.

 

ENTRY SECTIONS

 

1.       Haylage; 10 lbs.

2.       Corn silage; 10 lbs.

3.       Corn; grain corn, 12 ears, current year.

4.       Corn; 6 stalks.

5.       Hay; legume.

6.       Hay; grass.

7.       Wheat; an exhibit of 20 lbs., home grown, untreated.

8.       Barley; an exhibit of 20 lbs., home grown, untreated.

9.       Soya Beans; 10 stalks.

10.    High moisture corn, processed, 8lbs.

11.  High moisture corn, whole kernel, 8lbs.
