Seniors' Day - Sunday, September 11, 2011
(Takes place in the Arena at 12 noon) |
If you arrive
before 10:30 a.m. your gate admission of $10.00 entitles you to a free
pancake breakfast and a full afternoon of entertainment for those 50+.
We wish to extend a
special thanks to our sponsors.
The annual
Russell Fair continues to be a presence in our community thanks to the
ongoing support of our sponsors. The Russell Agricultural Society is
grateful for their support and hope you will encourage these individuals,
businesses and community organizations.
Refreshment donated by Karine Hamel of Russell Foodland will be provided
to seniors all afternoon, also at no cost.
Allan Johnston, Repairs and Service of Metcalfe, will provide a 6-person
golf cart to transport the seniors around the fairgrounds.
All attendees name go in the draw for hundreds of dollars of door prizes.

Last year, almost 500 seniors
attended. We are hoping to have at least that many attend again this year,
if not more.
