2011 YOUTH POSTER
COMPETITION
ONTARIO ASSOCIATION of AGRICULTURAL SOCIETIES (OAAS)
Each year the OAAS
sponsors a Youth Poster Competition at Agricultural Fairs across the
Province. There are two classes:
1. Youth up to and including Grade 6
2. Grade 7 up to and including Grade 12
1st Prize winners in class 1.will have their poster taken to the OAAS
District Level to complete to enter the Provincial Competition at the
Convention in Toronto in February 2012, where Prize money will be
awarded to the winners.
The Russell District Womens Institute has decided to sponsor this
competition at the Russell Fair and offers the following prize monies
for both classes at the 2011 Fair:

The Theme for the Competition is Promoting
the 2011 Russell Fair with the name and date of Fair shown
clearly on poster.

RULES |
|
A) |
Poster must be hand
drawn. No computer generated work. |
|
B) |
Size: Minimum 8 ½ X 11
(23 cm X 28 cm) without border to a Maximum of 12 x 18 (30.5 cm x
46 cm) without a border. |
|
C) |
Must be mounted on
Cardstock or Bristol Board exposing on all four sided showing 2
border. |
|
D) |
Must be labeled on the
back with the name of the Fair, District I, owner of the poster,
school and contact person. |
