The Russell Agricultural Society is proud to host the 153rd
edition of the annual Russell Fair, the oldest four-day agricultural event
in our Township.
We invite you to click through the pages of our website to discover for
yourself the many attractions our Fair has to offer – there is truly
something for everyone.
It all begins on
Thursday with a
stock truck pull,
Deal or No Deal and
karaoke night.
On Friday, over 1,000 students learn about the rural lifestyle during
Education Day.
This year, our evening concert features
Chilliwack,
Spirit of the West and Kim Mitchell.
Throughout the weekend, visitors
to our Fair can enjoy the horticultural show, the home crafts and
agricultural exhibits, midway, animal show, elephant rides, and a range of
entertainment. Be sure to
catch the
demolition derby
on Saturday evening, followed by
Sticks’n Stones
on stage.
Sunday, we see a return of our
seniors program, alon g with the
farm tractor pull,
and our fall
cutting horse competition.
And you won’t want
to miss
Diamond Heart
and Ambush
on Sunday afternoon.
